Commercial Leasing

A commercial lease is frequently a long-term contract with significant economic consequences. We have found that our commercial leasing practice area is one that is particularly helpful to a wide range of our clients, whether the clients are landlords or tenants.

Our attorneys review proposed leases prior to execution, suggest commercially reasonable revisions focusing on limiting liability and risk exposure, and negotiate on our client’s behalf through execution of the lease. We also assist clients with lease extensions, exercise of options, and lease amendments and terminations to ensure that such matters are handled properly and timely.

When issues arise during the term of a lease, we have the experience and, if necessary, the litigation support, to address default and noncompliance matters, failure to pay rent, eviction actions and tenant holdover issues.
